Alan J. Novick provides legal representation to clients in central Illinois. I offer clients caring and individualized personal attention in the areas of traffic, driving while under the influence, drivers license reinstatement before the Illinois Secretary of State, misdemeanors, felonies, juvenile delinquency, and matters pertaining to the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. About Alan J. Novick
Alan Novick has been practicing law since 1976 and focuses his practice in the areas of juvenile abuse, neglect and delinquency issues, criminal defense, DUI, traffic matters, and driver license reinstatement as well as appellate practice . Alan received his Juris Doctorate from University of Illinois School of Law in 1976 and his undergraduate degree in liberal arts from University of Illinois in 1973. Alan is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois. Although much of his practice is in McLean County, he does make regular court appearances in DeWitt, Tazewell, Livingston, Woodford and Ford Counties.
For the past 18 years, Alan was a partner with the firm of Jennings, Novick, Smalley and Davis located in Bloomington. Prior to his partnership, Alan served as corporate counsel for the Town of Normal and as counsel in charge of land use planning and public works in the Harland Bartholomew and Associates office of Chicago, Illinois.
His extensive community involvement currently includes being a Sunday school teacher and member of the Board of Directors of Moses Montefiore Temple. Alan is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and McLean County Bar Association. Alan and his family have lived in Normal, Illinois for the past twenty years.
